Job Title: Server

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at PeopleReady. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions and recommendations to customers.
  • Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems or concerns.
  • Collect payments from tables and process transactions accurately.
  • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
  • Assist food preparation staff when necessary, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
  • Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
  • Background Check and Drug Test required.
