Role Overview
As an Obstetrics and Gynecology Registered Nurse (OB/GYN RN), you will collaborate with OB/GYN specialists to deliver prenatal, postpartum, and reproductive healthcare services to female patients at various life stages, including puberty, pregnancy, and menopause.
Key Responsibilities
OB/GYN RNs are tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Conducting and assessing fetal monitoring to ensure the health of the fetus.
- Providing discharge education to mothers and their families, addressing inquiries related to medications, birth control, and vitamins.
- Administering injections and medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
