Position Overview:
The Packaging Engineer III plays a crucial role in analyzing intricate business challenges that can be addressed through SAP (ECC and S/4 HANA) and related business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise in identifying, assessing, and developing systems and processes that are cost-efficient, enhance business performance, and fulfill user needs.
• Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit and integration testing; and develop specifications for systems to align with business requirements.

Essential Skills:
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing and production planning, leveraging SAP to achieve business goals.
• Design solutions for all projects within the manufacturing and production planning domains, including necessary integrations.
• Strong technical, configuration, and business knowledge in the PP module, with the ability to configure at a project level.

• Familiarity with Variant Configuration in a Make to Order manufacturing scenario is essential.
• Translate user requests into effective application system solutions, analyzing user requirements to define and design system configurations, enhancements, and modifications.

• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems.
• Define requirements for specific forms and reports.

• Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, and document test outcomes.
• Assist in updating end-user documentation, coordinating training materials, and providing training to end users as necessary.

Additional Qualifications:
• Proven user experience and project involvement with SAP, alongside detailed technical configuration knowledge and business process understanding of SAP PP Modules. Knowledge of MM is advantageous.
• Experience with PLM integration and its setup in SAP is preferred.
• Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in an S/4 environment is preferred, including the ability to articulate differences from R/3 to S/4.

• Experience working in an integrated SAP environment with a single controlling area across multiple countries and functions, managing multiple company codes and regions.
• Solid understanding of database applications, system development, report writing, and SAP ERP.
• Knowledge of SAP Best Practices is essential.
