Teaching Opportunities:

Dominican University New York seeks an Adjunct Professor of Biology to join our faculty. This role involves teaching introductory, undergraduate laboratory-based courses, including Anatomy & Physiology and/or Microbiology. The ideal candidate will have a terminal or advanced degree and significant teaching and/or clinical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assess students in Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, and/or Microbiology courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials
  • Provide guidance on research projects and academic success

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in Biology or related field
  • Experience in teaching and/or clinical settings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $2,760/course (lecture only) to $4,600 (lecture and lab)
  • Tuition remission for self and family members
