The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Pharmacy team in ensuring accurate and timely medication distribution to patients.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Omnicell automated dispensing system and Epic computer software.
  • Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous IV admixtures under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
  • Meet eligibility requirements for Massachusetts registration as a Pharmacy Technician and become registered by the state before 1000 hours of employment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required.
  • Must be exCPT or PCTB certified, or a registered pharmacy intern with the state of Massachusetts.
  • Familiarity with medical/drug terminology and abbreviations.
  • Demonstrated ability to walk and stand 70% of the time and to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to appropriately handle controlled substances.
