IT System Administrator for Air National Guard Units

Job Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the IT team of the Air National Guard Units as a skilled IT System Administrator. With a strong focus on providing technical guidance and support for network hardware and software, this position will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our tactical communications units.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in configuring, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting various network and application server hardware, operating system software, and peripheral network equipment.
- Coordinate with internal and external functions for Internet Protocol (IP) address resolution.
- Analyze equipment and software reliability and utilization to identify and correct problem areas and establish network performance levels.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans in accordance with agency requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT system administration, including network hardware and software management.
- Strong understanding of computer networks, protocols, and security measures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
