Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for taking radiographs (x-rays) of patients to assist physicians in diagnoses and treatment. Your tasks will include obtaining high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, preparing and positioning patients, and documenting clinical information.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images using appropriate technical factors and techniques.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring modesty and safety.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues.
  • Check equipment operation and maintain cleanliness of tables and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Associate Degree.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
