Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop effective treatment plans
  • Provide care in accordance with physician's orders and established plans of care
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and modify plans as needed to achieve goals
  • Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to promote maximum benefits of care
  • Participate in performance improvement and program development activities
  • Contribute to budgetary planning to ensure cost-effectiveness of services and programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state
  • Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
