Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Quality Truck Care Center Inc. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing the mechanical, electrical, and other components of heavy duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair truck breakdowns, including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal truck performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with customers and coworkers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with technical literature and manufacturer specifications to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Extensive knowledge of heavy duty truck repair and maintenance.
  • Skills: Organizational skills, ability to work independently, and valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
Physical Demands
  • Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision: Ability to see with close vision.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing.
