Healthcare Sonographer

Job Description: At Optum, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal by providing high-quality diagnostic images using state-of-the-art imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining quality standards and adhering to guidelines
- Identify anatomical orientation on all required images, ensuring proper file identification
- Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information into the computer system
- Maintain logs and process paperwork for biopsies
- Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a course in Ultrasonic Technology
- RDMS Certification
- 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and employees

The estimated salary for this role is $50.61 per hour (New York Residents Only).
