Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at South State Bank. As a key member of our banking operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand and communicate the features, benefits, and advantages of our banking products and services.
  • Risk Management: Assess and effectively manage all risks associated with job function, ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
  • Technology: Develop a strong understanding of customer-facing technology and assist customers with self-service options.
  • Teller Duties: Process transactions, maintain a neat and orderly work area, and assist with guiding and training new tellers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months of customer service/sales experience, with cash handling, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Skills: Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
