Position Overview- Specialty: Resource

Clinical Responsibilities:
* Employs the nursing process to deliver safe and quality patient care while ensuring accurate documentation.
* Adheres to all policies and standards set forth by NMHS as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
Educational Role:
* Provides education to patients and their families, serving as a resource for current staff and new hires.
* May participate in the Preceptor program to facilitate the training of new personnel.
Communication Skills:
* Maintains effective communication with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Participates in daily unit huddles to clarify assignments and identify team members for the shift.
Customer Service:
* Projects a caring and approachable demeanor towards patients and other stakeholders.
* Utilizes the patient communication board to keep patients and families informed about their care and daily goals.
* Upholds NMHS behavioral standards in all interactions.
Professional Development:
* Stays updated on evolving trends in nursing practice to maintain competency.
* Completes annual reviews and participates in unit-specific training.
