Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily healthcare operations within the community to ensure residents' medical needs are addressed.
  • Guarantee that residents receive care with dignity and respect, adapting to their evolving healthcare requirements.
  • Maintain consistent quality of resident care and service across all shifts; this may involve stepping into the roles of Caregiver or Medication Technician as needed.
  • Assist in supervising community-based licensed nursing personnel, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers, providing ongoing training and education, including classroom sessions and specific situational training. Additionally, manage staff schedules.
  • Ensure the continuity and quality of medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision or administration within the community. Conduct regular medication skills assessments and audits in accordance with Brookdale Guidelines.
  • Participate in on-call duties as necessary.
  • Possess the educational qualifications required for state nursing licensure (LPN/LVN or RN) along with a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Hold a valid LPN or LVN license.
