This position involves working under the supervision of the Store Manager to manage the Non Perishable Food and General Merchandise Operations. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels, ordering merchandise, unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and serving customers.

In addition to these duties, the successful candidate will train department managers on stock levels, ordering, and merchandising. They will also oversee staff compliance with food handling rules and regulations, provide support to other managers as requested, and maintain close relations with vendor/supplier representatives.

This role requires a high level of organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively recommend pay increases and promotions.
