Job Overview:
Join our dedicated team at HHS, LLC as an Environmental Services Technician. We are seeking individuals who are friendly, compassionate, and work well in a team setting. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in a healthcare environment, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for patients to recover.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including patient rooms, communal spaces, restrooms, and more.
2. Regularly monitor and uphold cleanliness standards in all assigned locations.
3. Adhere to all established cleaning protocols and best practices.
4. Provide courteous and respectful service to all hospital visitors and staff.
5. Collaborate with team members and management to enhance departmental efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Effective communication skills in English and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Commitment to personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- Preferred experience in housekeeping or related fields (e.g., custodial services, environmental services, hotel operations, healthcare).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capability to push and pull heavy carts or equipment (over 100 lbs.) on various floor types.
- Proficiency in handling cleaning chemicals, including bleach and disinfectants.
- Competence in operating necessary cleaning equipment.
