We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at North Austin Medical Center TX in a Contract RN Labor and Delivery/OB ED position. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery and OB ED units, including vaginal checks and C-sections.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing care.
- Float between Labor and Delivery and OB ED units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery or OB ED.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and 7:00P-7:00A shifts.
