Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled School Nurse to join our team at Soliant. With a strong background in nursing and experience working with students, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to students and staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for delivering patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow school policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies.
  • Assess and address injuries or illnesses that may occur during school hours.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students.
  • Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
  • Participate in health screenings, immunization programs, and health education initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized healthcare facility within the school premises.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN/LPN license.
  • Experience working as an RN/LPN in a school, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to assess, identify, and respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Empathetic, passionate, and patient-focused approach to care.
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate and organized health records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
