Gastroenterology Specialist

Position Title: Gastroenterology MD
Contract Duration: 6+ months
Work Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, with some weekend and weeknight on-call duties required.
Monthly Schedule: 1-2 weeks of active duty each month, including on-call responsibilities.
Work Environment:
- Support Team: On-site RNs, CNAs, imaging personnel, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available. Hospitalist support is accessible 24/7 for admissions.
- Patient Volume: Typically, 9-13 procedures conducted daily. In-clinic consultations are scheduled for either 45 or 60 minutes, with follow-up appointments lasting 30 minutes.
- Departmental Requirements: Proficiency in performing ERCP and EUS is essential. Mandatory upper and lower conscious sedation skills.
Practice Environment: Hospital setting.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification: Required.
- State Licensure: Not mandatory; IMLC providers are welcome and will be licensed.
- DEA Registration: Required.
Credentialing Process: Estimated timeframe of 60-90 days.
