Job Overview

Verovian Nursing Agency is on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Registered Nurse (RN) to take on the pivotal role of Chief of Cardiovascular Services. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and enhancement of quality initiatives within the cardiovascular services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the Cardiovascular Services department, which encompasses the Cath lab, cardiology, cardiac surgery, and cardiac rehabilitation units.
  • Assess patient outcomes and satisfaction levels, executing quality improvement strategies as necessary.
  • Formulate and oversee the department's financial plan, including capital investments, staffing needs, and supply management.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities, crafting strategies to strengthen the hospital's position in cardiovascular care.
  • Ensure and enhance departmental accreditation status through ongoing evaluation and compliance with quality standards.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a master's degree in nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of nursing experience in cardiovascular services, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
  • Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (e.g., CVRN, PCCN, CCRN) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development abilities.
