We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a CSU Cares Intern. As a key member of our student support services, you will play a vital role in assisting with the daily operations of the Laker Care & Share program.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support, including data entry, document organization, and communication with stakeholders.
- Conduct research on best practices for student care and outreach initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Assist with the receipt, inventory, and stocking of food and household items for the Laker Care Pantry and Grab n' Go program.
- Support the Laker Care Pantry, including greeting clients, assisting with food selection, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Laker Care & Share program, including creating flyers, social media content, and engaging with campus organizations.
- Build relationships with community partners to identify resources and opportunities for students in need.
- Participate in outreach efforts, including tabling, residence hall information sessions, and departmental contacts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
