Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop comprehensive care plans to address their unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and educating patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care.
Requirements:
- New York State RN License
- BSN Degree or higher
- Basic Life Support Training
- Infection Control Training
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
