Position Overview

Ascension Indiana is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers, particularly those facing high-risk pregnancies.

  • Work Schedule: Full-time commitment (1.0 FTE)
  • On-Call Duties: 1:2 rotation with additional weekend support
  • Practice Environment: Collaborative team setting at Ascension St. Vincent Evansville
  • Technology Utilized: AthenaHealth EMR system
  • Facility Overview: Ascension St. Vincent, a Level III perinatal center in Indiana
  • Location: Evansville, Indiana

This position is situated in a designated Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUA/P).

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO credentialing from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board required prior to hire.
  • Advanced Life Support certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree required.
