Mustard Milling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Mustard Miller. This is a production-oriented role that requires strong leadership skills, a focus on quality control, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate and maintain milling equipment, including the Yellow System, Brown System, screener, Cook Processing vessel, and Cooling Vessel.
• Mix batches of raw materials into slurry for mustard processing and weigh and mix additional ingredients into milled mustard to produce specialty mustards.
• Perform quality checks, including mustard viscosity, pH, temperature control, and other critical control points.
• Keep accurate production and quality records, maintain housekeeping standards, and participate in quality and productivity improvement efforts.
• Work closely with the Material Handler to ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory management and follow all written and verbal production priorities.
• Monitor and turn in production and quality sheets, turn in quality samples, and clean and sanitize totes as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Effective verbal, listening, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work well with other departments and teams.
• Ability to work off shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Self-directed and good attendance.

• Knowledge of manufacturing environments and practices.
