At Treasure Island Las Vegas, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience by providing timely delivery of requested items, maintaining the cleanliness of guest hallways, and adhering to our high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver requested items to guests in a timely manner, adhering to our customer service policies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of guest hallways, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
  • Store supplies and stock shelves in the Housekeeping locker room daily.
  • Flip mattresses to prolong their lifespan and maintain the overall cleanliness of guest rooms.
  • Ensure Guest Room Attendant carts are emptied of trash and linen throughout the shift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of ice and vending areas, including the floor and area beneath the machines.
  • Report any maintenance calls to your supervisor.
  • Remove litter from sand urns and ensure guest elevators and surrounding areas are clean and debris-free.
  • Transport soiled linens to the linen dock before the end of the shift.
  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Requirements:
  • At least six months of previous cleaning experience, preferably in a large hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals used.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor are a must.
