We are seeking highly qualified candidates to join our team as Nocturnist/Day/Swing Hospital Medicine Faculty at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). As a faculty member in the Division of Hospital Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, supervising residents, and contributing to the academic mission of the department.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to join a premier safety net hospital and trauma center that is one of the main clinical sites for the UCSF School of Medicine and the UCSF Internal Medicine residency program. Our division has a strong track record of developing faculty careers in medical education, hospital leadership, clinical innovation, and research.
Responsibilities- Supervise residents on the Resident Inpatient Service
- Direct patient care and consult/co-management on the Faculty Inpatient Service
- Contribute to the academic mission of the department through research, education, and quality improvement initiatives
Candidates must be ABIM board-eligible or board-certified. Positions include a faculty appointment at the University of California San Francisco, flexible schedule, and competitive benefits package.
