POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of the healthcare team, the Obstetrician and Gynecologist will deliver comprehensive medical services in alignment with state regulations, focusing on the health and wellness of individuals and families. This role emphasizes preventive care and effective disease management.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The physician will engage in a variety of essential functions, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough medical evaluations.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic assessments.
• Executing medical procedures within the defined scope of practice and organizational guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a valid medical license in the State of Iowa, along with current DEA registration.
• Board Certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Acceptance for membership on the Medical Staff.
• Ability to obtain professional liability insurance.
• Commitment to ongoing education and compliance with credentialing standards.
• Valid certifications as required by hospital privilege delineation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in utilizing computer systems, including online training platforms, employee time management, and performance evaluation systems is essential. Familiarity with job-specific software is also required.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is mandatory.

• Sitting for approximately 25% of the work shift.
• Standing for about 50% of the work shift.
• Walking for around 25% of the work shift.
• Lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
