The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products. This role requires strong technical knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability and efficient production.


NPI :

Work with management, production personnel, and cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability and identify equipment and processes required for new and existing products.



BOM:
Support the implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes and procedures, including technical support for equipment and tooling maintenance or repair. Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts. Evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards. Knowledge of CAD software is required.
MRB:
Lead the Material Review Board (MRB) process, requiring technical knowledge to review and disposition nonconforming product. Work with the Engineering and Quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Develop rework instructions and conduct training to operators as needed to support rework reduction efforts.
WCM :
Drive cost reductions, yield improvements, and efficiency improvements towards World Class Manufacturing goals. Advance digital and automation initiatives through the site. Analyze work study data and equipment specifications to establish time and production standards. Collaborate with the quality department on Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action activities.

The successful candidate will be technically knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and proactive, with good project management skills and a good understanding of engineering procedures and Industry 4.0. They will be able to foresee future problems, recommend and implement solutions to solve issues and bring the project back on budget and schedule.
