Position Title:
Speech Language Pathologist

About this Role:


The College of Health is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Speech Language Pathologist to enhance our team serving Interprofessional Community Clinics.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient outcomes and the education of future professionals.

This part-time temporary role offers flexible scheduling, providing an excellent opportunity to assist patients in a state-of-the-art facility, collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals focused on patient well-being, and mentor aspiring Speech Language Pathologists.


Key Responsibilities:
Deliver thorough speech and language assessment and therapeutic services to patients of all ages within the clinics.
Facilitate community outreach initiatives through organized programming and health fairs as required.

Ensure all clinical documentation is completed to support patient care plans and to enable timely submission of healthcare claims to insurance providers.

Supervise students enrolled in accredited training programs.

Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies regarding the protection of health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution with CCC-SLP certification.

Possess or be in the process of acquiring Indiana state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA).

Eligible for credentialing as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and private health insurance providers.

A minimum of two years of professional experience working with individuals experiencing communication disorders. Authorization to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications:
Three or more years of professional experience in serving individuals with communication disorders. At least one year of experience in supervising students in training to become Speech Pathologists.
