Behavioral Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team at North Shore Community Health Inc. As a School Based Behavioral Health Clinician, you will provide essential mental health services to children, adolescents, and families in Salem primary, middle, and high schools.
This is a full-time school-year position, and you will report to the Director of School-Based Health. You will work collaboratively with school staff, community leaders, and healthcare providers to assess and address the behavioral health needs of our patients.
As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing crisis intervention, intake, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and outpatient psychotherapy services to patients. You will also consult with primary care and school staff to ensure comprehensive care and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention, intake, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and outpatient psychotherapy services to patients.
- Consult with primary care and school staff to ensure comprehensive care and develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Network and collaborate with community leaders, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations to assess and address the behavioral health needs of our patients.
- Conduct community outreach to provide information, make referrals, and coordinate services to support patients.
- Share best practices and expertise with school and North Shore Community Health staff.
- Meet documentation standards in a timely fashion using the electronic health record for each patient contact.
- Attend in-service training for ongoing licensure requirements and comply with all policies for compliance and documentation.
- Participate in supervision, team, and staff meetings, committees, and task forces as required.
- Current MA LICSW or Psy.D license required.
- School-based health experience preferred.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills with individuals and/or groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Electronic Health Records experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Self-motivated and self-directed to work within a team and work independently.
- Maintain CEUs as required by the state.
- Bilingual Spanish/Portuguese preferred.
- Completion of NSCH required Compliance Training before the deadline.
