Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate CNA Trainee to join our team at Living Legends Health. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing non-direct resident/patient care and supporting our CNA training program.

Responsibilities
  • Replenish unit supplies as directed
  • Make-up unoccupied beds
  • Transport residents to/from dining rooms, therapies, and activities
  • Accompany residents to appointments (non-hands-on tasks)
  • Assist with meal tray pass
  • Clean utility and nourishment rooms
  • Pass water to residents
  • Maintain resident's room, bath, and personal belongings in a clean, orderly condition
  • Report to nurse at the beginning and end of each shift and anytime leaving the unit
  • Report any changes noted in a resident's condition or behavior to the nurse
  • Respect resident's dignity, confidentiality, and individuality
  • Attend in-services, including all mandatory in-services
  • Perform any additional unit tasks as requested by the nurse
  • Adhere to assigned meal and break times
  • Follow facility policies and procedures
  • Follow Universal Precautions and infection Control Practices
  • Maintain Corporate Compliance Standards
  • Interact positively with residents, family members, and visitors
  • Display practical time management skills
  • Represent the facility in a professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service skills
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required due to the training program
  • Must be willing to learn and apply new skills
  • Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
  • Strong customer service skills and compassion
  • Minimum 18 years of age
