Our facility is a well-regarded, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Alaska, focused on delivering outstanding care and positively impacting our community.

This position offers a balanced work schedule of Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring no nights, weekends, or holidays are required.

As a member of SCF, you will work in a modern, accredited facility recognized for excellence in various surgical programs, including spine surgery and total knee replacements.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Operative Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage time, equipment, supplies, and staff
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments of patients
• Assist in evaluating both the physical and emotional well-being of patients
• Clearly explain procedures and secure necessary consents

Post-Anesthesia Care Responsibilities

• Organize nursing tasks effectively
• Assess and document the physical and emotional condition of patients
• Provide postoperative care and detailed instructions
• Ensure patient comfort and uphold dignity
