The successful candidate will be responsible for driving deliverables within the Phoenix Expansion Project and other critical initiatives related to this project.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute project plans to drive deliverables within the Phoenix Expansion Project and other critical initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure comprehensive planning and optimal execution of plans.
- Manage and lead cross-functional project and/or program teams.
- Ensure benefits, scope, goals, assumptions, and deliverables are well defined and understood by the team and stakeholders.
- Manage project/program activities, including recurring status meetings, reporting, tracking risks, and addressing risks and issues.
- Develop executive status reports and ensure effective communication between teams, functional management, senior management, and executive leadership.
- Drive consistency in project management tools and templates in line with the Bristol Myers Squibb PMO best practices.
- Support change management strategy and plan.
- Proactively manage changes in scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans.
- Foster high-performance teamwork and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with the BioPharma or life sciences industry and CGMP practices.
- 5 years of business experience, with 3 years in life sciences preferable, and 3 years of experience managing capital projects.
- PMP or similar professional certification highly desirable.
- Lean sigma knowledge and expertise highly desirable.
- Proficiency with project management and Microsoft tools, e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Advanced critical reasoning, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with a high level of accountability.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.
