Neonatal Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Physician Assistant to join our team at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, a leading children's hospital in South Florida.
About the Role:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), working closely with our team of pediatric subspecialists to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care in the NICU, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of neonatal patients
- Collaborate with our team of pediatric subspecialists to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient
- Participate in rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- Conduct educational sessions for patients and families on neonatal care and health
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is a 4-story vertical expansion of the Memorial Healthcare System, a quaternary trauma center and one of the largest public health systems in the country. Our hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including heart transplant, kidney transplant, neurosurgery, hematology/oncology, and ECMO.

Qualifications:- Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of a master's degree
- Applicants must have completed a Neonatal PA training program or have current PA experience in a Neonatal ICU
