Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Oregon Tool, Inc. This role will provide leadership across global teams for the analysis, recommendation, implementation, and support of global business systems in the Operations space with a focus on Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Critically assess business problems and requests to develop fixes and potential improvements.
  • Understand and analyze the larger IT systems landscape in order to make overarching solution recommendations.
  • Assess business processes to proactively offer improvement opportunities.
  • Successfully translate business requirements into technical solution design.
  • Create close alignment with business stakeholders, having one foot in IT and one foot in the business.
  • Exhibit strong communication between business and IT functions.
  • Be seen as a strong technical-functional expert in manufacturing applications, able to complete configurations within SAP and integrated shop floor applications.
  • Partner closely with developers and programmers in IT to create solutions to meet business needs.
  • Perform project management, following our Oregon Tool IT PMO framework, to deliver small to mid-sized projects.
Requirements
  • Possess a four-year degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
  • Bring 7+ years of experience in similar roles within IT or other business functions, demonstrating a strong foundation in business knowledge, critical thinking skills, IT understanding, and Operations and Manufacturing familiarity.
  • Skilled in configuring and managing SAP, label software, manufacturing data management technology, shop floor tools and a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders inside and outside of IT.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems analytically, work collaboratively with globally dispersed teams, take initiative, and maintain high standards of personal integrity and continuous learning.
