As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care to neonates, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care to neonates in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate, providing timely updates to the healthcare team.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring seamless patient care and a positive patient experience.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and treatment.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification within one year of employment.
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.
