Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your role will involve supporting nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering personal care to ensure hygiene and physical comfort, which encompasses feeding, bathing, grooming, changing attire, making beds, assisting with mobility, lifting, repositioning, transferring, skin care, and managing bowel and bladder functions. Your care will address the essential personal needs and comfort of patients, aligned with your professional skills and competencies.

- Preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for designated procedures and examinations.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program (or equivalent military medical training).
  • A minimum of six months of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the Washington State Nursing Commission.
  • Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) certification for healthcare providers.
