  • Providing valuable input into business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, specifically concerning transportation costs and logistics.
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimizing transportation processes and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments within the organization.
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear understanding of complex transportation data and insights.
  • Serving as a liaison between business units and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration regarding transportation systems and processes.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Data Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent professional certificates from coding boot camps may also be considered.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities within the transportation domain.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with an emphasis on current Business Intelligence (BI) software.
  • Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: Manhattan TMS, Qlikview, PowerBI, Tableau, Yardview, Alteryx, Talend, and ETL software.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • A strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in business analysis within the transportation sector.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
