Highbury Defense Group is in search of a skilled Human Systems Integration Engineer. This position plays a crucial role in advancing Command and Control capabilities for our Department of Defense clientele.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver technical expertise in the development of enterprise architecture, focusing on data structures and their integration with current models and tools.
- Oversee the operations and maintenance of Systems Engineering Technical Management processes across multiple programs.
- Conduct research and analysis on missions, tactics, equipment, interfaces, and resource allocations for emerging systems and initiatives.
- Collect pertinent data to construct models, ensuring traceability through the model hierarchy and alignment with operational capabilities.
- Provide systems engineering support for evaluating future system performance and making recommendations during engineering events and certifications.
- Identify risks associated with enterprise architecture development concerning cybersecurity, employing digital engineering techniques for system-of-systems designs.
- Document cybersecurity assessments throughout the acquisition phases and manage standards and agreements for system-of-systems interfaces.
- Revise technical drawings that illustrate IT architectures for various platforms and supervise system operations and administration.
- Assess the implementation of cybersecurity requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle and develop a science and technology roadmap for systems integration.
- Perform tests, analyze results, and present findings for laboratory evaluations, collaborating with industry and academic development efforts.
- Provide technical insights and reviews for documentation and engage in meetings to support the integration of the science and technology roadmap with development activities.
- Review and evaluate Acquisition Engineering documentation for programs within the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation lifecycle.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this role.
- A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or a related technical field.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in systems engineering support for Navy programs.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in relevant Human Systems Integration engineering support for Navy programs.
- At least six (6) years of experience in systems engineering support for Navy programs.
Compensation: Salary at Highbury Defense Group is determined by various factors and will be communicated when the position is no longer contingent.
