About the Role

Via Licensing Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Royalty Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our licensing program, you will play a critical role in processing royalty allocations and distributions, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review royalty calculations and corresponding reports, Licensor distributions, and reconciliations.
  • Manage Licensor customer accounts, perform quarterly Settlement Statement and Tax Receipt contact change reviews, and ensure royalty requests and inquiries are addressed appropriately.
  • Ensure accurate documentation on Royalty Disclosure agreements and associated reporting, and understand and administer complex redirection agreements.
  • Support the management team on high-level projects, assist with report preparation and analysis, and make recommendations to improve Departmental processes and procedures.
  • Serve as a lead in training new team members and communicate with other teams/Departments on Licensor-related tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems within set guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize multiple demands.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to process and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
