About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol hospital premises to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor visitor conduct and ensure that all individuals on hospital premises are authorized to be there.
  • Control parking and traffic flows, and enforce parking regulations.
  • Provide physical restraint against individuals who pose a threat to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Escort personnel as needed, and unlock offices and facilities.
  • Report safety, security, and fire hazards to management.
  • Recommend improvements to safety and security procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License (Class D) required.
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, hospital security, or corrections preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
