Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Logistics Material Handler to join our team at JobsRUs. This position is essential for managing the flow of materials and ensuring efficient operations within our supply chain.


Compensation: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM


Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Management (60%):
    Oversee the receipt and verification of incoming materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Document and inspect materials, manage quarantine processes, and coordinate with Quality Assurance for sampling. Facilitate the transport of materials for production, maintain inventory levels, and execute inventory transactions within the ERP system.
  • Shipping and Distribution (30%):
    Prepare shipping documentation for hazardous materials and manage the shipment of temperature-sensitive products. Ensure adequate inventory levels for shipping supplies and consumables.
  • Additional Responsibilities (10%):
    Provide accurate documentation as per standard operating procedures, complete all necessary training, and perform tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations within a regulated industry, preferably in pharmaceuticals or life sciences. Familiarity with inventory management and ERP systems is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.


Competencies:
  • Team-oriented with a solid understanding of cGMP operations.
  • Proficient in managing ERP inventory transactions.
  • Willingness to work with chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Knowledge of handling temperature-sensitive products.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment. Personal protective equipment may be required.


Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
