Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work with our team in Macon, GA. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to help diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various types of equipment, including GE and Siemens machines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and position them correctly for optimal imaging.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and videos of internal organs and tissues.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, procedures, and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
