Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients in a safe and efficient manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and third-party laboratories to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Utilize electronic medical records and lab management systems to accurately document patient information and track specimen results.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, including specimen labeling and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other clinical staff members to ensure timely and effective delivery of patient care.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Phlebotomist with a strong commitment to patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A certificate from an accredited school of phlebotomy or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience as a Phlebotomist, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Environment

The work environment for this position is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be exposed to direct contact with patients, as well as potential exposure to blood/body fluids, chemotherapeutic agents, or transmittable infections. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism is essential for success in this role.
