The QA Technician will be essential in upholding the quality and safety of food items within our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections and quality assessments on both incoming and outgoing products.
- Document and monitor quality control processes and protocols.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and quality regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Perform periodic audits of production processes to verify compliance with company standards.
- Identify and report any quality discrepancies or deviations from established standards.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of quality enhancement initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise records of inspections, tests, and audits.
- Collaborate with various departments to address quality concerns and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of the facility and equipment.
- Engage in training programs to remain informed about quality assurance best practices and regulations.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education in food science, quality assurance, or a related discipline is advantageous.
Prior experience in quality assurance, particularly within the food sector, is preferred.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control practices is essential.
Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities are necessary.
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills are required.
Proficiency in utilizing quality inspection tools and equipment is expected.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office Suite, are necessary.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, along with the capacity to lift and move objects up to a specified weight, is required.
