Position Overview
JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group is on the lookout for a driven and qualified candidate with relevant experience in hospitality or real estate to join our Investment Sales team as an Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist team members in securing listings, marketing, and closing real estate transactions.
- Input financial data from profit and loss statements into valuation models.
- Under the guidance of senior team members, develop pro forma financial projections.
- Conduct preliminary asset valuations using various techniques such as discounted cash flow and income capitalization.
- Collect, compile, and present economic and demographic data relevant to real estate transactions.
- Support the preparation of presentations, offering materials, and various reports.
- Abstract legal documents as necessary.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, including graphic and web designers, for the preparation of offering materials and presentations.
- Facilitate the transaction due diligence process under the supervision of senior project team members.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in real estate or finance; experience in the hotel sector is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration, or Real Estate Finance.
- Strong academic performance.
- Demonstrated quantitative skills.
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in valuations or consulting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently while maintaining team rapport.
- Ability to adhere to formal reporting structures.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours and on weekends as required.
- Proficient in computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
- Willingness to travel domestically.
