Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Mechanic to join our team at Northern Humboldt Union High School District. This is a probationary, full-time position with a 12-month contract.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to achieve departmental goals
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in heavy duty equipment mechanics or equivalent experience
  • Valid Class B California driver's license with passenger endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
