About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Public Sector Services team. You'll work closely with federal, state, and local government customers and partners to drive innovative solutions using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. Your expertise will guide technical and strategic decisions, ensuring seamless integration and efficient service delivery.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect to lead complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and grow our services business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your technical expertise to architect transformational technology solutions for clients, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Lead customer, partner, and internal teams through multi-phased delivery projects, providing hands-on guidance on development, governance, and operational lifecycle.
  • Guide product direction and features by sharing valuable insights with Salesforce product leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 6-10 years of experience leading integration teams and architecting solutions in diverse technical environments.
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience, evaluated based on core competencies (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience).
  • Experience conducting technical workshops with clients and partners to drive effective services and implementations.
  • Proven track record of architecting integrations with MuleSoft or other solutions (e.g., IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic) and API Management solutions (Apigee, Mashery).
  • Solid understanding of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, configuration, and deployment.
  • Experience with API and integration security, including authentication and authorization concepts and principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a self-starter.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
Estimated Salary Range

$151,800 - $243,100 per year, depending on location (Washington D.C. or Maryland).

This position requires U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized) and a satisfactory background investigation result. You must also obtain and maintain the specific level of U.S. Government security clearance required for this role.
