About the Role

In this Mental Health Professional role, you'll provide expert patient care in an acute psychiatric setting at JobRialto in Salem, MA. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll deliver comprehensive care, maintain patient safety, and support patients with various psychiatric needs. This position requires a valid West Virginia or compact state nursing license, current BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications, and at least 2 years of experience working in an acute psychiatric environment. We're looking for professionals who are adaptable, able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues alike, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care in an acute psychiatric environment with a 1:5-6 patient ratio, adapting to fluctuations in census and staffing needs.
  • Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patient response, and assess mental and physical health to inform care decisions.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, prioritize patient safety, and engage in crisis management when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans, incorporating patient goals and preferences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation, adhering to facility protocols and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, including safety measures and best practices.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest care techniques and procedures.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid West Virginia or compact state nursing license.
  • Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certifications.
  • Bring a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an acute psychiatric setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong adaptability in response to changing patient ratios and staffing demands.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient engagement.
Certifications:
  • BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications (current and valid).
Earning Potential:$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
