Evoke is seeking a Document Controls Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Service Treatment Record (STR) documents for electronic conversion.
  • Familiarize yourself with the type of content that should be contained within the medical and dental records.
  • Repair and enhance images to improve the quality of the document prior to scanning.
  • Update record status in the STR Registry to ensure accountability of records as they move through the process.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Be proactive in cross training on other roles within STR, so that knowledge and skills can be used to assist other team members in other process roles.
  • Ensure that the confidentiality of sensitive information is protected.

Professional Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Conscientious and responsible.
  • Dependable/Reliable.
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Belt Certified, desired.
