Transportation Coordinator

Job Summary:

As a Transportation Specialist at the University of Florida, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to school-related events on school buses. This role requires a commercial driver's license (CDL) Class "B", a School Bus Endorsement, and a Passenger Endorsement. If you have experience transporting K-12 students on school buses, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport students to school-related events on school buses
Transport vehicles to scheduled service
Ensure vehicles are fueled and ready for all scheduled trips and keep all vehicles clean (interior and exterior) to include full detail at least twice a year, more if needed
Provide front gate coverage in the absence of a dedicated Gate Guard, screening vehicles and visitors on campus and directing as needed
Supervise students as needed

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and School Bus driving experience
Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) Class "B", a School Bus Endorsement, and a Passenger Endorsement
FDLE Level 2 background check required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience transporting K-12 students on school buses
